Cabanyes Entre Valls offers luxury glamping experiences in treehouses and eco-designed cabins immersed in nature in La Garrotxa, Spain. We are pioneers in the tourism sector with certified Passivhaus cabins, setting a new standard for sustainable luxury stays in nature. We are also accredited with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.

ABOUT US

Cabanyes Entre Valls was created to offer meaningful stays where people can disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature, themselves and their loved ones. Our project combines luxury glamping, architectural excellence and deep respect for the natural environment. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and we are the first tourism project in Catalonia and the second in Spain to offer certified Passivhaus cabins, redefining luxury in nature through emotion, well-being and environmental responsibility.

This Meaningful Travel Map Impact Partner was brought to our attention by Soy Ecoturista. Soy Ecoturista is a non-profit association that groups destinations and companies in Spain offering authentic ecotourism experiences in territories with protected areas. All members of Soy Ecoturista meet a series of environmental and social requirements that guarantee the traveler their contribution to the conservation of biodiversity and to the local development of the areas they visit.

IMPACT

Cabanyes Entre Valls creates measurable positive impact across environmental, social and economic areas. We are pioneers in Catalonia and the second project in Spain to operate certified Passivhaus cabins, significantly reducing energy use, CO₂ emissions and resource consumption while ensuring exceptional comfort. Our low-impact construction, renewable energy use and landscape integration support environmental stewardship. We generate stable local employment, collaborate with regional suppliers and promote slow tourism that respects local culture. On site, we eliminate single-use plastics, use spring water responsibly, operate efficient wastewater treatment systems, and rely on Ecolabel-certified laundry processes. Most suppliers are local and organic, firewood comes from our land, and livestock supports land management and wildfire prevention. We also donate one euro per booking to cancer research and support Alzheimer’s research through solidarity products.

What accommodations do you make for people living with disabilities?
We offer an accessible cabin designed for guests with reduced mobility, including step-free access, ramps to the private terrace, and adapted bathroom facilities. Two additional accessible cabins with private pools are planned.
