Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort
OUR EXPERIENCES
Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort is New Brunswick's only four-season social Nordic spa, offering a restorative cycle of wood-fired hot tubs, saunas, and cold plunges built with a deep commitment to sustainability and low-impact design. Travelers can join us for a day pass to experience shared wellness and local craft cocktails along the Fundy Coast, or immerse themselves fully by staying overnight in one of our eco-conscious, Scandinavian-inspired Nature Suites. Beyond the spa circuit, guests can deepen their visit with registered massage therapy and community yoga classes, making us a grounding basecamp for exploring the dramatic Bay of Fundy.
ABOUT US
Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort is a women-owned, community-built destination in Albert County, New Brunswick, founded on the belief that wellness is most powerful when shared rather than experienced in silence. Built from the ground up by two single mothers during the pandemic, our four-season eco-resort pairs a social Nordic spa experience with sustainable, Scandinavian-inspired Nature Suites. We are deeply rooted in the Bay of Fundy region, actively partnering with local artisans, breweries, and wellness practitioners to support our rural economy. Our mission is to provide a restorative, low-impact sanctuary where guests can deeply connect with nature, themselves, and each other, while fostering a sustainable future for our local community.
IMPACT
As a women-owned, community-built business, Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort actively demonstrates positive impact across multiple areas:
Governance & Business Model: We are proudly 100% women-owned. Founded by two single mothers during the pandemic, our resort was built from the ground up without corporate backing, proving that independent, purpose-driven models can thrive in rural tourism.
Social & Community Impact: We believe that true eco-consciousness is the perfect mix of environmental sustainability and giving back to the local economy. We directly stimulate Albert County by creating year-round jobs and prioritizing local products across our operations—from regional craft breweries to local artisans. Furthermore, our weekly yoga classes are open to the public, ensuring our wellness space serves as an accessible community hub, not just an exclusive tourist amenity.
Environmental Impact: We intentionally built our resort around the existing landscape to preserve as much of nature as possible. Our operations are deeply sustainable: we utilize solar power, enforce a zero single-use plastic policy, and clean our facilities exclusively with organic or homemade cleaning products. We also maintain on-site herb and vegetable gardens to supply our offerings, ensuring our footprint remains light while connecting guests to the land.
Education & Awareness Building: Positioned minutes from the Hopewell Rocks, we serve as a grounding basecamp that connects travelers deeply with the Bay of Fundy ecosystem. Through our immersive, place-based experience and storytelling, we inspire guests to appreciate and protect the fragile coastal environment they are visiting.
