OUR EXPERIENCES
Arts Center Association DBA, Morean Arts Center is a nonprofit visual arts organization that connects people with art through exhibitions, hands-on experiences, classes, workshops, and community programs. Visitors can explore the Chihuly Collection, watch live glassblowing demonstrations at the Morean Glass Studio, visit artist exhibitions, shop for locally made artwork, and participate in creative experiences that connect them with St. Petersburg’s vibrant arts community.
Travelers experience the Morean as both a cultural attraction and an immersive arts destination, offering opportunities to engage directly with local artists and creative traditions. We also welcome volunteers who support exhibitions, events, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives throughout the year.

The Morean Arts Center connects people with art through innovative, community-centered experiences. Through exhibitions, arts education, glassblowing demonstrations, the Chihuly Collection, and hands-on creative opportunities, we inspire meaningful connections between visitors, artists, and the vibrant cultural community of St. Petersburg, Florida.
IMPACT
The Morean Arts Center creates measurable cultural, educational, and community impact through accessible arts experiences that connect residents and visitors with St. Petersburg's creative community. In the past year, we served more than 71,000 people through exhibitions, classes, outreach programs, and public events. We provided 5,315 hours of arts instruction, supported 360 artists through paid opportunities totaling more than $764,000, and delivered 18 accessibility programs serving 3,558 individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and other underserved populations. Through scholarships, free family art-making programs, and community partnerships, we expanded access to the arts for people of all backgrounds. Our governance and business model prioritize reinvestment in artists, education, and community engagement, ensuring that cultural tourism directly benefits local creatives and strengthens the region's cultural ecosystem.

The Morean Arts Center is committed to making art accessible to all. Our facilities are ADA-accessible, and we offer a variety of programs designed to serve individuals with disabilities, including adaptive art classes, sensory-friendly experiences, and community partnerships that expand access to the arts. In the past year, our accessibility initiatives served more than 3,500 individuals through programs for people with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and other populations who may face barriers to participation. We continually work to reduce physical, financial, and social barriers so that all visitors can engage meaningfully with our exhibitions, educational programs, and creative experiences.
