Verdiago Vive
OUR EXPERIENCES
We offer charming rural accommodation in the middle of nature, including boutique rooms and fully equipped rural houses, along with spa services and a restaurant serving local cuisine. Travellers live an experience of disconnection, well-being and authentic contact with the environment, enjoying the tranquillity, the mountain landscape and a close and personalised service.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to offer a rural tourism complex in the eastern mountains of León that allows visitors to disconnect and enjoy nature in an authentic environment. We aspire to become a benchmark in the area, promoting experiences that combine accommodation, outdoor activities and the discovery of the environment, from mountain routes to nearby cultural and gastronomic proposals. Our project is based on respect for nature, connection with the territory and involvement with the local community, offering close and honest attention. We want each guest to live a unique, participatory and enriching experience, in direct contact with rural life.
This Meaningful Travel Map Impact Partner was brought to our attention by Soy Ecoturista. Soy Ecoturista is a non-profit association that groups destinations and companies in Spain offering authentic ecotourism experiences in territories with protected areas. All members of Soy Ecoturista meet a series of environmental and social requirements that guarantee the traveler their contribution to the conservation of biodiversity and to the local development of the areas they visit.

IMPACT
Verdiago Vive generates a positive impact through a sustainable tourism model focused on rural revitalization and environmental responsibility. Located in a small mountain village at risk of depopulation, the project creates local employment, supports entrepreneurs and works with approximately 50% of local suppliers, strengthening the local economy.
In the environmental field, it integrates solar panels that cover up to 80% of electricity consumption, efficient construction, LED lighting, water-saving systems and consumption monitoring. Waste is managed responsibly through recycling and oil collection, and the use of plastics is reduced through bulk purchases and reusable systems.
In addition, it contributes to the conservation of the landscape and local culture by collaborating with initiatives in the territory, supporting events and promoting responsible behaviour among visitors, encouraging connection with biodiversity and the environment.
