ABOUT US
Vendresse Estate is a nature and heritage park in the Ardennes, France, built around a 19th-century blast furnace and set across four hectares of gardens, ponds, and trails. It blends outdoor play, wildlife viewing, and regional history in one site.
IMPACT
Vendresse Estate sits in a protected natural setting in the Bar Valley and includes a dedicated Biodiversity zone with 60 meters of hedgerows, a butterfly garden, and an educational pond for observing local insect species. Its aquariums are designed to help visitors understand the water cycle and the life of Ardennes rivers, and its blast furnace is listed on France’s Inventory of Historic Monuments, preserving a piece of the region’s industrial heritage.
