The Global Meaningful Travel Map
BoKaeo LuaChuNee
OUR EXPERIENCES
BoKaeo LuaChuNee Community offers high-value, eco-friendly tourism experiences that immerse travelers in the rich cultures, cuisines, and local wisdom of four highland ethnic groups: the Karen, Hmong, Lua, and native Thais. Travelers engage directly with our community through experiential activities like our hands-on "forest-grown" Coffee Journey, multi-tribe cooking classes, forest bathing treks, and meaningful "You Plant, We Care" CSR initiatives. Furthermore, we proudly sustain local heritage by offering authentic cultural products, including traditional-meets-modern ethnic handicrafts and signature multi-tribal herbal teas.
ABOUT US
Our Vision (About Us): We aim to elevate the quality of life for our local community by leveraging Community-Based Tourism (CBT) as a catalyst for positive change. We achieve this by thoughtfully managing our three core assets—our cultural heritage, our social (human) capital, and our natural environment—to ensure the holistic, long-term sustainability of our destination.
Our Mission: We operate on a foundation of absolute collaboration, defined by four guiding principles: co-creating initiatives, taking joint action, sharing benefits equitably, and upholding collective responsibility for our impact.
IMPACT
Our initiative empowers the community to transform their cultural and natural assets into sustainable economic value, instilling a profound sense of local pride. We drive demonstrated positive impact across four essential pillars:
Governance & Business Model: We utilize a community-led management structure that ensures equitable economic distribution and collective decision-making.
Social & Cultural: We actively preserve indigenous heritage, converting traditional wisdom into viable livelihoods that directly elevate the local quality of life and celebrate ethnic diversity.
Environmental: The economic value we generate directly funds local conservation efforts, promoting eco-friendly practices that protect our highland natural resources.
Education & Awareness Building: We foster a deep appreciation for local assets, turning community members into proud stewards and educators of their own heritage for visiting travelers.
Therefore, we prove that holistic conservation and sustainable community development can thrive together as a successful model.
