OUR EXPERIENCES

At Mountain Bike Wales, we specialise in delivering exceptional multi-day cycling adventures through the breathtaking and varied landscapes of Wales. From the iconic Traws Eryri and the remote beauty of the Trans Cambrian Way, to the untamed trails of the Cambrian Mountains, we offer expertly guided experiences designed to showcase the very best of Welsh mountain biking.

ABOUT US

To share the extraordinary landscapes, rich heritage and unique spirit of Wales through unforgettable cycling adventures — inspiring visitors to discover a deeper connection with the land, its people and its culture, and to leave with a lasting sense of hiraeth.

IMPACT

At Mountain Bike Wales, we deliver cycling adventures that benefit visitors, local communities and the rural economy. Myself, Phill, and Polly were born and raised here in Mid Wales, and our business draws on over two decades of experience and an intimate knowledge of the region.

Over seven months, our 294 guests generated 841 bed nights and breakfasts, including 1,726 evening meals in local pubs and restaurants, supporting rural hospitality businesses. We work with local accommodation providers, food businesses and support teams, helping tourism spending reach communities across Wales.

Our guests rode over 4,000 kilometres of trails across the Cambrian Mountains, Eryri and the Elan Valley, discovering Wales’s natural landscapes, heritage and culture.

Through guided experiences, we share local knowledge, history and traditions, encouraging appreciation of Welsh identity and rural life. The concept of hiraeth reflects the lasting connection many visitors develop with Wales.

Our impact combines measurable local economic benefits with meaningful cultural connections and responsible outdoor adventure.
